Your own special place

Over fifty bird species have been seen on the farm and this information has been documented for your interest. Binoculars will give a close up view, although many live near the house and often play on the lawn.

Enjoy the wildlife - Roo is a frequent visitor, along with possums and other native animals. You can meet the cows and horses, feed the chooks and talk to Snowy the dog.

Your holiday house features views to the bush or over the fields from every window. The family can enjoy exploring and riding their bikes around the tracks. There's plenty of room for family cricket, or simply watching the kids play, whilst enjoying a drink and a read under the verandah.

The cottage has its own 5 acre private forest, with walk trails for you to explore, and bocce is supplied for the late afternoon wind down.

Albany, Denmark - and everything in between

Mountain bike or walk the quiet back roads. Some of the hills are a test, but the scenery will be well worth the effort.

Walk the Bibbulmun Track, the local section of which winds through West Cape Howe National Park and follows our stunning south coastal beaches.

Swimming, fishing, and surfing are just 10 minutes from A Sunshine Farmstay and the opportunities to enjoy nature's wonders are unlimited.

Albany

Albany is a 20 minute drive away and the site of the first European settlement in WA. There are plenty of historic sites and buildings, and the Whale World whaling museum is full of interest for young and old. Fantastic coastal scenery surrounds this thriving town, where you will find restaurants, shopping and entertainment to suit every taste.

Denmark

Also a 20 minute drive, Denmark's appeal lies in its peaceful village atmosphere and rolling farm and forest scenery. Beautiful, safe beaches, such as Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks, are dotted along a dramatic rocky coastline and the area is a mecca for artists of many kinds. The many wineries around Denmark attract visitors to their cellar doors, some of which also feature restaurants.
